How to Make Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips

Corn tortillas - Thinner corn tortillas tend to bake evenly, thicker may take a little longer to cook.
Olive Oil - bottle or spray
Salt - Regular or sea salt...if you are watching your salt intake, you can use a salt substitute.
Oven Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Brush both sides of the tortillas with the oil. Stack the tortillas and cut the tortillas with a pizza cutter into sixths.
- Spread the cut tortilla triangles out on the baking sheets in a single layer and season with salt or seasonings.
Bake until golden brown and crisp, about 7-10 minutes.
How to Make Homemade Tortilla Chips in Air Fryer
- At 350 degrees F, place the tortilla chips into your air fryer basket and spray them with cooking spray. Sprinkle with salt and cook them for 6 to 8 minutes. Take the basket out and give the chips a test. If the chips still aren’t crisp, continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Each air fryer is different, adjust the timing of your air fryer.
- Chile-Lime - 1 Lime, 2 T Chili Powder, and 1/2 t. Salt
- Cinnamon Sugar - 1/2 c sugar & 2 T cinnamon mix, sprinkle then bake.
- Tajin - Chile seasoning found in the Hispanic aisle in the grocery store.
- Lime - 1/4 cup lime juice & 2 T olive oil in a bowl. Brush tortillas with oil-lime and cut into triangles. Sprinkle salt and bake.
