How to Make Steak Picado
- Heat a large frying pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meat on both sides, then add sliced onion and garlic.
- Add bell peppers and jalapeño, and mix in tomatoes and cumin, dried cilantro, chile powder, and black pepper.
- Stir constantly until vegetables are slightly tender. Lower heat to simmer, cover, and cook for 45 minutes.
