  • Mexican Crema (Mexican crema is similar to crème fraîche: it's a little runnier and tastes even tangier) or sour cream
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Pineapple Tidbits - Pineapple chunks if you prefer
  • Apples - Granny Smith, Gala, Envy, Fuji, and Honeycrisp are the best choices.
  • Pecans - Walnuts, and Almonds can be used.

How to make Mexican Christmas Fruit Salad (Ensalada de Navidad)

In a medium-sized bowl, add the crema, sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, and pineapple juice from the can. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.

In a large container or bowl, add the diced apples, pineapple tidbits, pecans, coconut, and raisins. Add sour cream mixture and blend well. Top with cherries. Easy peasy!!
