How to Make Cooked Pinto Beans

Start with cooking Pinto Beans:

There are 3 methods I use to cook my beans, Slow-cooker, Stovetop cooking, and Instant Pot

Slow-cooker Method: Clean and rinse pinto beans, add 6 cups of water,  and cook on high for 4 hours.

Stove CookingRinse your pinto beans and place them in a pot on the stovetop. Cover with water – and bring to a boil. Then turn off the heat and let your beans soak in the hot water for about an hour. Soaking cuts down on the overall cooking time and helps them cook more evenly so they’re tender through and through. It will take about 2 hours to cook.

Instant Pot: Clean and rinse beans, add 6 cups of water, pressure cook on high pressure for 30 minutes for unsoaked beans and allow 15 minutes for natural release.
