2-Ingredient Dulce de Leche Ice Cream

This easy Dulce de Leche Ice Cream recipe has only 2 ingredients and no ice cream maker needed! Just two ingredients make the most creamy, melt-in-your-mouth ice cream you’ve ever tasted.

Dulce de leche is Spanish for "sweet [made] of milk". Other regional names in Spanish include manjar ("delicacy") and arequipe; in some Mesoamerican countries, dulce de leche made with goat's milk is called cajeta.






How to Make 2-Ingredient Dulce de Leche Ice Cream

2 ingredients:
Dulce de Leche milk-based caramel
Heavy whipping cream





  • Spoon dulce de leche into a medium-size bowl. Add 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream and stir until smooth.


2-Ingredient Dulce de Leche Ice Cream


  • Add remaining heavy whipping cream to a mixing bowl and beat with an electric hand mixer or stand-up mixer. Continue to beat until mixture forms peaks


  • Add dulce de leche mixture to whipping cream bowl and mix thoroughly

  • Place in a loaf pan or shallow dish and freeze for 6 hours or until firm

  • Caramel sauce can be layered into dulce de leche ice cream when placed in a loaf pan or container.
  • Salted Dulce de Leche - Add 1/2 teaspoon sea salt to dulce de leche cream, then mix with whipped cream, then freeze.
  • Add chopped pecans to dulce de leche mixture before placing into loaf pan before freezing
  • Add Cinnamon Crunch cereal to the mixture before freezing.

    • 1 can (13.4 oz) Dulce de Leche-milk based caramel(I used the "La Lechera" brand)
    • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
    Instructions:

    This chunky avocado salsa recipe is a great meat-free alternative. It’s sure to please vegetarians and meat lovers alike. This salsa is super easy to make where you just need to dice some avocados, jalapenos, tomatoes, and onions, hit it with some lime juice, throw in some cilantro, and finish things off with a touch of salt.





    How to Make Chunky Avocado Salsa 

    Avocado: Scoop out the avocado, gently work a spoon between the flesh and the skin of the avocado. Following the curve of the avocado with the bowl of the spoon, scoop the avocado out of the shell, then cut into chunks.




    Tomatoes: Cut the tomato in half and scoop out seeds, then dice.  Getting rid of the pulpy seeds in your tomatoes can seem like a lot of extra work, but it's worth it. ... If you didn't remove the seeds, they will make the salsa extra watery.

    Onions: White or Red onions diced
    Cilantro: Fresh and chopped
    Jalapeños: 2 jalapeños are used for this recipe but you can use 1 for less heat. Seed, scrape membrane from jalapenos, and dice.
    Add garlic powder, lime juice, and salt to taste.


    Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently toss to together with a fork.




    How to Serve Chunky Avocado Salsa
    • Perfect as a tortilla chip dip
    • Top a taco salad
    • As a topping on bruschetta or grilled garlic bread
    • Serve with grilled fish or chicken

    Chunky Avocado Salsa

    This chunky avocado salsa comes together in minutes, it’s perfect for a last-minute appetizer with chips, or on a Carne Asada Burrito.

    Ingredients:
    • 4 avocados, peeled, seeded, and chopped
    • 5 Roma(plum) tomatoes, seeded and diced
    • 2 jalapeños, seeded and diced
    • 1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
    • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 4 tablespoons lime juice
    • Salt to taste
    Instructions:
    1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently toss to together with a fork.

    Tender Grilled Chicken with Pico de Gallo, Mexican rice, Guacamole all wrapped up in a flour tortilla.



    How to make Grilled Chicken Burrito

    Combine all marinade ingredients together. Marinate chicken in a resealable bag or container for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.

    Remove chicken from marinade, and discard marinade.  

    Grill on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until done (165°F internal temp).



      • Remove chicken from grill and place on cutting board. Dice the chicken into 1/2 inch cubes. 
      • Place diced chicken in the center of a flour tortilla, then a spoonful of rice, beans, Pico de Gallo, or favorite fillings.
      Additional Add-ins for Chicken Burrito

      Sour Cream, or Mexican Crema
      Corn kernels
      Shredded lettuce
      Pickled Jalapeños
      Sliced Avocados
      Sliced Olives, sliced red onions
      Pinto, Black, Kidney beans.

      How to Make a Grilled Chicken Bowl instead of a burrito

      Start with a large bowl,  add a layer of rice, beans, cheese, chicken strips, and any fillings you like, top with pico de gallo, and guacamole. Enjoy!
